“Irving’s voice is effortlessly projected. Sometimes a phrase is pursued with increasing pressure until the notes glisten and when suddenly released
in a whipping ribbon can give you the shivers.” – S.I.M.A Australia.
“Lavish talent and striking originality.”
– The Weekend Australian.
In the early 1900s, one year after the Colony Arcade first opened as a working factory for milliners, visionary businesswoman Winifred T. McDonald rented the building’s 20,000-square foot ground floor space, turning it into a tea room for ladies and a separate restaurant for men.
Honoring the Colony Arcade’s role in New York’s Garment District, Winnie’s today is an intimate space that boasts a refined cocktail list with Prohibition-era flair, and an extensive beer and wine selection. With its prime location at the heart of Refinery Hotel’s lobby, timeless setting and live jazz performances, Winnie’s is a quintessential New York experience.
